CONSTRUCTION OF PRIME FAMILY NURSING HOME
The deficiency of quality health services has been pinpointed as a detrimental challenge that the people of Kikyusa face. Kikyusa has one hospital that lacks resources and personnel to provide for the overwhelming number of patients that come on a daily basis. As a result, the million people that this facility serves are not receiving proper medical care and are suffering or dying due to a lack of treatment. In order to combat the dire need, Ntulume Foundation has decided to build a health facility centered on compassionate, affordable, and quality care. The name of the health facility shall be called Prime Family Nursing Home.
Prime Family Nursing Home shall be a 24-hour facility to offer services in dental, pediatrics, radiology, immunization, laboratory testing, blood transfusions, occupational and physical therapy, minor surgeries, and maternity. We hope also to expand a maternity ward, a pediatric ward, men’s and women’s wards and two operating theaters.
The vision of PFNH is to transform the standards of health care in Mityana by offering a patient-centered, holistic, and compassionate approach. We emphasize values such as “Patients come first,” respect and dignity, commitment to quality of care, integrity and accountability, good stewardship and commitment, teamwork, and compassion.
Kindly consider partnering with us to give the most rural areas of Kikyusa an opportunity to receive quality and compassionate health services. We equally hope to partner with remote village leaders to organize health days, our social workers and health practitioners travel to these areas to provide services like HIV testing, reproductive health, malnutrition screenings, dental check-ups and extractions, vaccinations, prenatal care, and counseling on a quarterly basis.
